ROADiBROM project cause spilot Mobile TV project of a German city and Fraunhofer institute
As a result of Dissemination activities and inspired by ROADiBROM project, a new mobile TV broadcasting project was founded in Germany. Circom Regional, one of the ROADiBROM Consortium partners takes part in this project as well.
Project description:
set a mobileTV channel and transmit real mobile broadcasting with programmes and contents especially made for the german city of Erlangen.

- This project is a non-commercial research- and pilot-project - development of the first european location-based mobile TV channel - concepting, generating and adapting of contents for mobile devices - transmission via DVB-H technology - 24 hour mobile TV program - test transmission between february and martch 2008 - transmission in the area around the city of Erlangen - following market an consumer acceptance research
Aims:
- highlight different possibilities for mobileTV - create an interest of people for innovative media and technology - identify acceptance of regional mobileTV - develope a production flow for mobile TV
