Tell us about your Prix entry?
In Sweden there is a lot of athletes from outside EU that are joining teams in the highest league in different sports, especially in volleyball. They come to Sweden and don’t know the laws but trust the club and the chairman.

But some clubs are using the system to cheat the immigration board with false contract to get work permits for their players. In that way some players get used as cheap labour. They are alone in a foreign country and have no one that can help them, so their dream to be a professional player can turn out to be a nightmare.
This was something that few knew anything about, but in my reporting I could show secret papers and contract that proved how this things take place. And I also involved players, who have been victims, to tell about their experience.
This news was covered by numerous newspapers and media around Sweden.

Tell us about yourself?
I have been working for SVT for almost a year. Prior to that, I was reporter and director for the sport section at Norrtelje Tidning outside Stockholm. I have also worked at the biggest newspaper in Sweden, Aftonbladet, and at the sport channel Viasat Sport.

What is next for you?
Hopefully I will continue with more investigative journalism. It’s one of the most important part of our work, and of course it’s always fun and interesting to work with. I’m also looking forward to the summer, as always at this time of the year.

Tell us one thing you’re putting in your suitcase for Cavtat?
Sunglasses, of course.
