European Youth Centre, Strasbourg 4 th – 9 th May 2004

Pilot project between Circom Regional and the Council of Europe Department of Youth and Sport. The meeting involved 400 young people from all over the world discussing issues surrounding globalisation. Circom Regional secured funding for 8 journalists supported by 2 Circom Regional trainers.

:: Journalism Workshop
Wroclaw, Poland, May 17th - 30th 2004
Wroclaw, Poland was the location for this, the 10th Circom Regional annual Journalism Workshop / Wroclaw Training 2004 /. Reflecting past workshops, which began in Iasi, Romania 1994, 23 young journalists represented 13 different countries. Over 700 journalists have now attended CR journalism workshops.
Besides Romania and Poland the workshops have been held in Italy, Portugal, Germany, Greece, United Kingdom, Hungary, Denmark and Slovakia.
Next year's training will take place once again in the United Kingdom, in Liverpool.
