TV2 Oestjylland, Denmark, has won the Prix Circom Grand Prix for its documentary Plane Crash in the Arctic Ocean. The award - which is the "best of the best" drawn from the seven programme category winners - was announced at the  Circom conference in Malta.

The award was collected by Nicolaj Venge and Jesper Bonde Nielsen.

The station wins 3000 euros, thanks to sponsors SES-Astra which was represented at the conference by Bill Wijdeveld, managing director of Astra Benelux BV. The award was presented by Michael Lally, President of Circom Regional, and Mr Wijdeveld.  The station also wins 3000 euros for its Documentary success.

This category was sponsored by the Dutch Cultural Media Fund, represented at the award ceremony  by Hans Maarten van den Brink, director of the Fund.
