CIRCOM Regional is pleased to inform its member stations about the project “Vicinities Europe”, a pan-European current affairs talk show that gathers guests from different countries to discuss and debate issues that are of importance to the European citizens.

Two pilot shows have been produced: the first show is on the Migrant and Refugee Crisis in Europe, and the second, called Quo Vadis, Europe?, looks at the future of Europe in the light of recent events. The shows are approximately 50 minutes long and are in English. Full transcripts are available. The shows are produced by the Center for Democracy and Reconciliation in Europe, an NGO that received funding from the ERSTE Foundation. The Center maintained full editorial control, and the editors and hosts are journalists with decades of experience.

The two pilot shows are available free of charge to any interested CIRCOM member station. A number of CIRCOM member stations have already chosen to broadcast the shows.
