Jacques Briquemont, RTBF,  is the new President of Circom Regional. He was elected during the European Board meeting, which took place on 19th  November 2011 in Malmo, Sweden. Jacques Briquemont took over the Presidency form Michael Lally, RTE – Galway.

After three difficult years we have know a good opportunity to reinforce CIRCOM Regional. The training is in good hands and I will continue to support the success of its diversity.  The coproduction, after some very good years in the past, is now close to zero, I will try to recreate it in the next future. CIRCOM has a great potential and after the recent difficulties, my intention is to reinforce its capacities and its realizations. I know that we will have a good team with  Johan Linden as Secretary General and Michel Barthen as Deputy Secretary General and I count very much on their help. I will also continue and reinforce the relations with the European Institutions to support CIRCOM regional.  I thank very much Michael Lally and Boris Bergant who were able to conclude a difficult period” Jacques Briquemont said after elected.
