38th Annual Conference: Creative Regions – Creative Economy

Conference postponed!

Dear colleagues,
In the past weeks we have been monitoring the situation with the coronavirus crisis in Ireland and with our European colleagues.

It is with deep regret that I inform you, in agreement with TG4, the host member, about the postponement of CIRCOM Regional Annual Conference that was scheduled on 28 and 29 May in Galway.
We will give further information in due time on how this will be managed, including the workshop that we use to hold around the Conference, the Executive Committee and European Board meetings, the Annual Assembly and the Prix CIRCOM gala.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this postponement may cause to you.

Our 38th Annual Conference of CIRCOM Regional was scheduled for 28th and 29th May, 2020 in Galway, Ireland hosted by TG4, national television channel, broadcasting in Irish.

The theme of the Conference is Creative Regions – Creative Economy. We will explore the role regional public service broadcasters can play in influencing the cultural and economic vibrancy in the region. The conference will also centre around the value of Public Service Broadcasting and its role in promoting the diversity of culture and how we can promote better region-to-region cooperation between media in Europe.
