Since 1983 CIRCOM Regional has held the Annual conference in different countries and with different broadcasters every year. The aim of the conference is to have a yearly meeting where colleagues share their best ideas – everyone should leave the conference with at least two good ideas that can be used back home.

The scope is wide, but the focus is on strategic issues: content, technology, audience, online production and other broadcasting topics. The conference content is produced around a theme that is topical for the regional host and the industry. The sessions are produced by the members of CIRCOM Regional.

The high point of the conference is the Prix CIRCOM Gala where the best programmes in different genres are recognised and commended. In the last decade the Gala also has been broadcast and streamed online.

Our 39th Annual Conference was hosted by EITB - Euskal Telebista, Basque Country, Spain,
on 1st and 2nd June 2023.
