The letter of agreement between CIRCOM Regional and Yle, Finish public service broadcaster, to hold the 42nd Annual Conference of CIRCOM Regional in Tampere, Finland, on 21st and 22nd May 2026, was signed in Tampere on November 28th 2025 during association's Executive Committee meeting.
In 2026 Yle is celebrating its 100th anniversary and the Annual Conference will be part of the celebration. The Conference will be held under the theme “Shared moments”, reflecting on the way regional public service media brings communities together.
The Letter of agreement was signed by (left to right in the photo): Fernando R. Ojea, CIRCOM Regional Secretary General, Eivind Undrum Jacobsen, CIRCOM Regional President, Jyri Kataja-Rahko, Head of events at Yle and Aki Karjalainen, Managing Director at Yle Local News.
