CIRCOM Regional is inviting candidates to apply for the position of Networking & Communications Manager, a part-time, fee-based role designed to strengthen communication, member engagement, and operational coordination across the organisation. Candidates should be employed in CIRCOM Regional Member station.

The position can be carried out remotely from any CIRCOM Regional Member station, offering flexibility while contributing to the development of a more connected and engaged network. 

Role and Responsibilities

CIRCOM Regional is looking for a dedicated professional with strong news judgement, editorial expertise, and creative communication skills. The Networking & Communications Manager will play a key role in enhancing both internal and external communications, fostering collaboration among members, and reinforcing the sense of an active and vibrant European public media network.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing internal and external communication activities.
  • Supporting networking and collaboration among CIRCOM Regional members.
  • Strengthening member engagement and community-building initiatives.
  • Coordinating communication efforts across the organisation.
  • Promoting CIRCOM Regional’s activities, achievements, and opportunities.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should have prior experience working within a public media organisation and demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication and editorial skills.
  • Strong understanding of news and media environments.
  • Creativity in developing engaging communication initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting collaborative projects.
  • Commitment to strengthening professional networks and member engagement.

Terms and Conditions

The role is part-time, with an estimated workload of approximately **one hour per day**, although greater involvement may be required during periods of increased activity.
Compensation will be provided through a fee aligned with CIRCOM Regional’s general fee structure, taking national cost levels into account.
Travel and accommodation expenses related to participation in meetings and official CIRCOM Regional activities will be covered by the organisation.

Candidates should be employed in CIRCOM Regional Member station.
