BIGGER CHALLENGE – MORE SUPPORT - MORE PRIZES

 

CIRCOM and MTVA hosted 20 journalists in Budapest, from 4th to 11th October 2015, taking part in the second competition for mobile journalists.
In two categories - Beginners and Advanced - delegates were required to make a 2’00 – 3’00 minute news story based in Hungary, using only iPhones for shooting and iPhones or iPads for editing.

Highly Commended: Orsolya Pflum, MTVA, Hungary for "The King of Soda Water" story

The final stories produced are available for broadcast for all CIRCOM member stations - please contact your National Coordinator for details.

Prizes were sponsored by Shoulderpod and OlloclipShoulderpod produce the S1 tripod adaptor for smart-phones and is highly recommended by CIRCOM trainers as the best adapter on the market. Olloclip provide a series of add-on lenses for smart-phones that give additional creative options to the mobile journalist.
The prizes for both Biginner and Advaced category were:

First Prize Winner – 500 euro (provided by CIRCOM) plus an Olloclip Active lens and case
Highly Commended – 250 euro (provided by CIRCOM) plus an Olloclip 4 in 1 lens and case
Special Prize for Creativity – a Shoulderpod Adapter and an Olloclip 4 in 1 lens on its own
