This 2-days workshop helps anyone managing a team to understand how their style of leadership impacts team members and how well they work. The workshop had 9 participants from the following European regional television stations: HRT Croatia, EITB Basque Country Spain, NRK Norway, RTVS Slovakia, SVT Sweden, MG ALBA Scotland and BBC UK.

A highly interactive workshop offered practical tools as well as the chance to share experiences with colleagues from across European regional TV stations. It helped participants to build confidence and leadership know-how with discussion and self-reflection on 3 key themes:

• Are you a manager or a leader? - What’s the difference and why does it matter when going through change?
• Clarity & Feedback - Does your team understand what’s expected of them? And how effective is your feedback so they know how to do better tomorrow?
• Empowerment - Create leaders not followers. Why, and how can you do this?

The workshop, free for CIRCOM Regional members, was led by Linda Hermansson from SVT Sweden, helped by Gordana Škaljac Narančić from HRT Croatia.
